The Applied Biotechnology Team dedicates its efforts to:

• find and evaluate new ideas related to current activities or new areas in food safety
• continuously improve the routine methodologies applied at Soft Flow
• adapt new technologies
• fortify the professional expertise
• contribute to the company progress by broadening employee’s perspective.

In order to achieve its goals, Applied Biotechnology Team implements Proof of Principle (POP) studies, establish scientific partnerships, arranges and coordinates state of the art instruments demos, promotes continuous learning and counselling. By collecting relevant theoretical and practical information from the field of (mainly) food safety related biotechnology, New Technology Team functions in Soft Flow R&D as a funnel for the technological and scientific inputs with importance for FOSS solutions.
